Archiving Newspapers
Notes on talks by various luminaries on the state of preservation of the nation's newspapers. Hardcopy and microfilm are becoming passe, but digital isn't quite here yet, and newspapers are disappearing. interesting quotes, e.g. "Google has been quite clear that their mission does not include preservation or archiving" — fAndrew Madden, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Google.
